I'm a public artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota specializing in fine art mosaics, a love affair that began more than a decade ago. Prior to that, before my introduction to mosaics, my artistic roots were planted in oil painting for more than a decade. Growing up fishing with my dad, in Minnesota, and then later, living in California near the ocean, my work in fine art mosaics, and oil painting have been greatly influenced by water, movement, and texture.  This can be seen in many of my earlier impressionist landscapes in oil, as well as in my current fine art mosaics.
